I Want To Market Online, Where Do I Start?

I’ve been toying around with the idea of a series of posts to help people BRAND NEW to online marketing or are really contemplating doing something online, whether it be part-time for some extra income, or something they would like to replace their full-time job to GET MORE TIME FREEDOM.
So that’s what I’m going to do.
No beating around the bush. Let’s get started.

Preliminary Step:

If you are wanting to join a network marketing company (which I recommend) but don’t know which one to join, let me make a few recommendations for you.
1. Choose a company whose products you believe in and support.
If you’re not passionate about your company’s products, it’ll show to the people who you are wanting to sign up.
2. Choose a company with a good compensation plan.
One reason I decided to choose my network marketing company is because their compensation structure is the most generous I could find. They offer 11 different ways of getting paid and it’s easier to earn than a lot of other companies.
I don’t want to distract from this post by explaining my company’s compensation plan, but if you want to learn more about it, just go read my post about it here.
3. Choose a company where there is good support.
Network marketing is a team effort, not a solo gig. Make sure that you have a solid upline who has experience with online marketing. Another reason I chose my company was because my upline and his wife were multiple 6-figure earners who built 90% of their business through social media. I knew I had their support and they had my back.
By now, you should have a good understanding of what you should consider when choosing a network marketing company, and WHY you should choose it.

My Network Marketing Company’s Compensation Plan

1. Business Building Bonus.
When a new Ambassador joins the company, they can purchase a Welcome Pack priced between $99 and $199.
50% of the purchase price of the Welcome Pack is paid back to the Ambassadors as a Business Building Bonus.
50% of the Bonus is paid to the sponsor and the remaining 50% of the Bonus is split between three Qualified Ambassadors above the sponsor.
Example: You join as a new ambassador joins and purchases a $99 Welcome Pack.
$24.75 is paid to your sponsor.
$12.50 is paid to the next qualified ambassador above your sponsor.
$7.25 is paid to the next qualified ambassador above the previous ambassador.
$4.95 is paid to the next qualified ambassador above the previous.
2. Points.
The company awards you points for every Qualified Ambassador within the pay levels of your organization. Ambassadors are paid a bonus based on the points that they accrue on a monthly basis.
Example: Let’s say you have 5 people you’ve sponsored directly under you and 3 of those are qualified ambassadors. They would be your level 1 with a point value of 5 points each.
Those 3 qualified ambassadors have sponsored a total of 15 qualified ambassadors. They would be your level 2 which also have a point value of 5 points each.
Now let’s say those 15 qualified ambassadors have sponsored a total of 50 ambassadors. They would be your level 3 which also have a value of 5 points each.
You would now have a total of 68 qualified ambassadors worth 5 points each. That is a total of 340 points.
The actual point value varies but usually goes between the upper $2.00 range to $4.00. Let’s just say they’re worth $3 per point.
That would give you a monthly points bonus of $1020!
The amount of levels you get paid on will depend on your rank. Also, the point values change as the levels increase.
3. Achievement Bonus.
Earn a one-time Achievement Bonus as you ascend the different ranks within the Compensation Plan.
Example: As you move rank up to Silver, you would get a $100 bonus. Rank up to Gold, that’s a $250 bonus. The bonus amount increases for each successive rank.
4. Fast Start Achievement Bonus.
Earn an Achievement Bonus as you achieve the level of Gold, Senior Gold, Ruby, or Senior Ruby within 30 days of becoming an Ambassador.
Example: Within your first 30 days, if you reach the level of Gold, you will receive a bonus of $700 for reaching this rank.
5. Personal Volume and Retail Profit.
Earn Commissions from the product purchases that customers make on your company website.
Example: You have 5 customers who purchase a total of $550 in Personal Volume. You would earn $125.
You earn 15% on Personal Volume of 100-499.99 and if you reach 500 that amount goes to 25% on everything over 100.
6. Personal Volume Override Commission.
Earn an override commission on the qualifying retail sales of the Ambassadors that you personally enroll.
Example: You have 3 ambassadors directly under you who each have a Personal Volume of 500 for at total of 1500. You would earn 5% on their volume above 100, so you would earn $60. ([500-100]*3)*0.05=$60
7. Preferred Customer Program.
Receive a bonus on the orders of your Preferred Customers—people who receive their product on a monthly basis.
Example: You have 4 customers who order a certain product every month through the Preferred Customer program, you would earn $20 (based on this specific product).
The actually bonus amount varies on each product ranging from $4-$25.
8. Emerald Pool Bonus.
The Emerald Pool is comprised of 3% of the company’s monthly Ambassador payout, and is shared among the Ambassadors who qualify.
Example: It is nearly impossible provide an accurate example since the amount of company’s commissionable volume changes every month as well as the number of those who qualify at the rank of Emerald or higher.
9. Sapphire Pool Bonus.
The Sapphire Pool is 1% of the company’s monthly payout, and is shared among the Ambassadors who qualify.
Example: Again, it is nearly impossible provide an accurate example since the amount of company’s commissionable volume changes every month as well as the number of those who qualify at the rank of Sapphire or higher.
10. Diamond Pool Bonus.
The Diamond Pool is comprised of 1% of the company’s monthly Ambassador payout, and is shared among the Ambassadors who qualify.
Example: It is nearly impossible provide an accurate example since the amount of company’s commissionable volume changes every month as well as the number of those who qualify at the rank of Diamond.
11. Earn a Diamond Re-Entry Position.
Achieve the rank of Diamond Ambassador and be rewarded with the opportunity to re-enter the program with a second position that will be placed first level to your original position.
Also, there is a car program where the company will give you a monthly allowance to purchase a luxury vehicle.

4 Dos And Don’ts For Social Media

Have you ever read something online that just irked you? I know I have.
I can recall blog posts where I just wanted to write back and let them have it. There have been times that I write a comment and then just delete it, but there are also some that I sent! 🙂
So is this appropriate? What is good behavior especially when it comes to social media?
Here are 4 simple rules you can follow.
1. If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. I don’t think this will ever go out of style.
2. Be social. Interact with your friends and in groups that you are in. Ask questions. Learn about who you’re talking to. What do they like? Dislike? What keeps them awake at night?
3. Be yourself! Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. Who would really want that anyway? If they like your fake persona…they’re not really liking you are they? Who wants to be around someone who doesn’t like them?
4. This one is for people in sales and marketing…don’t pitch your product or opportunity every chance you get. This is like watching TV with the same infomercial on all the time. No one wants that and it’ll just cause people to avoid you.
So that’s it!
Follow these rules and you should be a likeable, lovable, social media socialite in no time!
